Goku vs Frieza in Dragon Ball Z
Annoyed for being once more listening to false super Saiyan tale, Frieza impales Vegeta’s heart with a ki bullet. Goku criticizes Frieza for killing someone who can no longer fight, but Vegeta berates him to stop being soft. He tells Goku about planet Vegeta’s past glory and how such a mighty warrior race has to serve under Frieza, who eventually wiped them all (karma).
Vegeta dies and Goku buries him, and also acknowledges some of the Saiyan pride. Goku vows to defeat Frieza as a Saiyan and also avenge Namek people. Goku signals Piccolo who with Gohan and Krillin move away from the area. Goku and Frieza confront in a speed battle constantly testing blows to outperform each other. Goku notices that Frieza can’t sense his ki.
Frieza shoots a powerful ki blast that Goku deflects after some effort. Continuing his assault, Frieza fires ki rays that force lava to erupt everywhere. He tries to throw Goku into the lava but he escapes. Using a ki wave Goku suppresses lava eruptions. Frieza attacks from behind and Goku evades it. Frieza tries to force crush Goku with his eyes but Goku escapes it.

He used the same trick against Frieza, who can easily handle it. Frieza distracts Goku and kicks him into the sea. Goku using two ki waves fires them from the sea which distracts Frieza, allowing Goku to twin-kick Frieza. Frieza’s fall creates a huge impact. Annoyed by Goku’s constant backfire, Frieza using telekinesis throws a wave of boulders at Goku, who easily destroys them.
Following that Frieza rips a small island-size boulder from the ground and throws it at Goku. Goku cuts it to the side and goes towards Frieza’s location, but Frieza traps him in an energy sphere. After kicking and thrashing the sphere like a football, Frieza launches it far to have a meteor-like collision course with the ground.

Piccolo informs Gohan and Krillin that both of them are monsters, as he points at Goku who has used super speed to escape the impact. Once again Goku confronts Frieza and both agree to stop their warm-up and get serious. Frieza offers to not use his hands to fight Goku. Goku attacks with various angles and Frieza dodges them perfectly and similarly counterattacks.

Frieza also uses his tail (cheat advantage) to thrash Goku constantly. Meanwhile, Bulma being helpless comes across a whole lot of namekian frogs. One of them shows some intelligence by giving her a towel (maybe found in the backyard!) which she washed her face with. Later after traveling far, Bulma eats food and also gives some to the frog who is traveling with her.
She also gives the frog a piece of chocolate (Ginyu forces’ favorite snack) which the frog cherishes. Bulma creates a collar for the frog to act as a translator for it to speak, due to its intelligence. After activating the device, Ginyu frog exchanges its body with Bulma. Meanwhile, Goku constantly catches Frieza’s tail and starts giving Frieza some trouble.

Frieza wrapped his tail over Goku’s neck to strangle him, but Goku bites it. When Frieza released him, Goku started beating Frieza causing him to use his hand to punch back. Goku advised him to never be overconfident and not to take the opponent lightly. This statement hurt Frieza’s pride (it was at this moment that Goku screwed up).

Frieza mentions to Goku that the power he holds is such that half of his power is enough to turn Goku into space debris. Goku is not so convinced (yeah, needs practical proof). Ginyu in Bulma’s body using her bike travel, and Bulma in frog’s body is latching onto the bike’s back handle. Landing on Ginyu’s face, Bulma forces him to crash near Krillin’s area.
Frieza using his extreme speed gives Goku a hard time not letting him fight properly and getting injured. Frieza continuously thrashes Goku, who cannot gain any advantage in the fight. Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and Chaiotzu who are getting live updates on Goku’s battle from King Kai are worried.

Yamcha assures others that Goku still has 10x Kaioken, but King kai informs them that Goku is already using it. Ginyu-Bulma joins others, while Bulma-Frog constantly tries to warn others about Ginyu, but to no avail. Ultimately, Ginyu’s disguise is blown when he constantly praises Frieza, and the frog is trying to say something. Ginyu instantly attacks Krillin but it is of no use.

He then targets Piccolo (strongest in the group), who couldn’t move. Gohan throws Bulma-Frog in between (like father like son). Bulma is back in her body but gets blown away with the Ginyu frog, due to Goku and Frieza’s battle waves. Frieza overwhelms Goku in every possible way when using 50 percent of his power.
Using a ki slash, Frieza creates a deep line across planet Namek almost dividing it into two parts. Goku finally understands that he is no match against Frieza.
