Frieza in Namek (Frieza’s first appearance in Dragon Ball Z)
Gohan, Krillin and Bulma landed Kami’s spaceship on planet Namek. Bulma got freaked out due to Krillin and Gohan going outside, without any precaution of able to breathe on another planet. On checking the dragon ball radar Bulma finds that 4 dragon balls (4 Namek village destroyed) are at one place (under Frieza’s grasp).
Gohan and Krillin detect powerful ki but Bulma suggests it to be the namekians, given Picollo’s strength on Earth. Just as they were about to search for Dragon balls, they became horrified to look at an attack ball landing far on Namek. They speculate that Vegeta must have arrived to get the dragon balls.
To make things worse, another attack ball flew away in the same direction as the previous spaceship. Bulma loses all hope but Krillin advises to first get the nearest dragon ball from their destination. Vegeta lands on Namek and is confronted by his old rival Cui, under orders of Frieza’s by Dodoria to keep an eye on Vegeta.

Cui followed Vegeta to Namek and wants to have a battle to see whose strength has improved (pathetic luck). However, after a short battle, Cui is horrified to know that Vegeta’s power has surpassed 18000 which were similar to Cui. Vegeta’s power has already increased due to his battles on Earth.
Cui scouts that Vegeta is stronger than him, as Cui’s scouter explodes unable to handle Vegeta’s power level. On a destroyed Namek village location, Zarbon informs about Vegeta’s power beyond 22000 to Frieza. But Dodoria has the same old lame assumption of scouter malfunction when he himself detects a 24000 rating.

Cui tries to flee but gets insta-killed by Vegeta. Frieza’s two subordinates, Dodoria and Zarbon, using their scouter informed Frieza about Cui’s fate. Frieza suggests both Dodoria and Zarbon team up and kill Vegeta. Sensing two unknown energy signals for a short amount of time, Frieza sends two of his minions, Sui and Banan.
Bulma suggested to Krillin and Gohan that she should go back to Earth and inform Goku. Immediately after that Sui and Banan flew to the place where Gohan, Krillin and Bulma had landed. They first destroyed their spaceship core and then try to kill the earthlings. Both Krillin and Gohan increase their powers to 1500 level and make a joke out of the two minions.

After killing them they ask Bulma to radio contact on Earth updating about their crisis, and also advice her to hide in a safe place. However, they sense a lot of auras and instantly hide in a cave. Gohan and Krillin are frightened to sense Frieza’s power. Bulma on Krillin’s advice checks the dragon radar.
4 dragon balls are shown to move as per Frieza’s group departure. They let Bulma hide inside the cave. Without using any ki they ninja hop to Frieza’s location. Frieza along with his crew lands on a small Namek village. On Earth, the doctor and nurse prevent Goku to exercise. Master Roshi arrives at the hospital and informs Goku about Bulma and other’s crisis on Namek.

Soon Yajirobe arrives bringing 7 senzu beans given by Korin (white talking cat with staff) to Goku. Goku gulps one and completely heals freaking out the doctor and nurse. He goes to Dr Brief’s lab and admires the newly made spaceship, which is based on Saiyan attack ball design. Dr. Brief says that the spaceship is incomplete due to no stereo set installed (if bored due to space journey).

Goku quickly blasts off to space. Meanwhile, Frieza demanded the dragon ball from the village chief, Moori but he didn’t agree. Gohan and Krillin arrive there, hiding and looking from a canyon. They get surprised to see that the namekian dragon balls are much larger than Earth’s dragon balls. They also sense incredible ki from Dodoria and Zarbon.
Frieza threatens Moori by revealing his assault of previous Namek villages. He had killed a village chief just to dig out the information about dragon balls. In space, Goku starts his intense training under 20x gravity (100x of Earth’s gravity being the limit) on the spaceship. This is twice the gravity of planet Vegeta.
The ship will help Goku to reach Namek within 6 days. The spaceship has the function of increasing gravity inside for training, as per Goku’s request to Dr. Brief. It is revealed by Frieza that namekian dragon balls are created by the namekian grand elder and distributed to 7 village elders or chief for safekeeping. Each one of them must test a person’s mind and heart and only then pass on their dragon ball.

After revealing this Frieza commands Zarbon, who kills two namekians to force the Namek elder, Moori to handover the dragon ball in his possession. When asked by Moori the reason behind collecting the dragon balls, Frieza says he wants eternal life. Gohan gets restless but Krillin asks him to stop emitting his ki.
Soon three namekian warriors come from far after sensing a disturbance. Dodoria scouts them to have 1000 power level. Moori notices that the scouters are the reason behind Frieza’s group to search the Namek villages (key point). The three Namek warriors dust away most of the minions of Frieza.
Namek Village Crisis Japanese Soundtrack
Dodoria detects each of the Namek warrior’s power has increased to 3000. Moori with the distraction destroys all the scouters. Dodoria show-off his strength by quickly giving the three Namek warriors a quick grave. Moori is forced to give the dragon ball.

When denied to reveal the location of the last two Namek villages, Dodoria bashes Moori. Dodoria (Frieza in manga) also kills one of the two namek kid, Cargo.
